我是佐藤隆郎，SEED集團的新任社長兼首席執行官。以迄今為止建立的隱形眼鏡日本國內銷售為基礎，我將繼續擴大本公司生產據點「鴻巢製造工廠」的產能和積極向海外拓展的方針。

本公司在中期經營計劃(2024年4月～2027年3月)中設定了「三年內奠定實現500億日元銷售額的基礎」的目標，但在第一年裡我們沒有達到預期的結果。

SEED是一家製造企業。作為本公司的根基，首先我會加強「產品製造」的實力，製造出高品質和高附加值的產品，構築穩定供給的基礎，從而建立能夠靈活應對市場變化的體制，力爭在第三年實現當初的目標，我相信，透過增加各種新功能，隱形眼鏡對醫療保健的貢獻潛力將持續擴大。我們集團將齊心協力，提升公司在隱形眼鏡行業中的影響力，為產業發展做出貢獻。

このたび、代表取締役社長に就任いたしました佐藤でございます。これまで築いてきたコンタクトレンズの国内販売を軸に当社の生産拠点である鴻巣研究所の拡大、海外への積極的な展開を行っていく方針は、継続してきたいと考えております。

当社は、中期経営計画(2024年4月～2027年3月)に「500億円の売上を目指すための基礎固めの３年間」を掲げておりますが、1年目を終えた現在は、思うような結果が出ていない状況と理解しています。当社は、モノづくり企業です。まずは、その基礎となる「モノづくり」の強化に努め、高品質で高付加価値の製品を製造し、安定して供給できる基盤を構築することで、市場の変化にも柔軟に対応できる体制を確立してまいり、3年目は当初目標の達成を目指します。

コンタクトレンズは、新しい機能を付与することで、医療へ貢献できる可能性は広がっていると思っております。コンタクトレンズ業界の中での当社の存在価値の向上と業界の発展に貢献できるよう、全社一丸となって取り組んでまいります。

I am Sato, the newly appointed President and CEO of SEED Co. Ltd. 

With the domestic sales beginning to gain traction, I plan to continue to enhance our production capacity at the Konosu Reasearch Institute and aggressive sales expansion overseas. Despite having set the target of building the foundation for achieving 50 billion yen of sales in our medium-term management plan (April 2024 to March 2027), I understand that we have not achieved the expected results for the first year. 

At the core, SEED is a manufacturer. Forming the basis of our business, I will firstly strengthen our manufacturing capabilities, and establish a solid foundation that enables us to manufacture and supply high-quality, high-value-added products in a stable manner. At the same time, I strive to establish a business structure that can swiftly, efficiently and flexibly respond to changes in the market. With these measures in place, I am determined we will achieve our set target in the third year.
I believe that contact lenses have an expanding potential to contribute to medical care through the addition of various new functions. The company will work together as a whole to increase our market presence and contribute to the development of the contact lens industry.
